What You Need

  • Helmet with full face cage or shield (CSA approved)
  • Neck Guard (BNQ certified)
  • Mouthguards - recommended, not mandatory
  • Shoulder Pads
  • Elbow Guards
  • "Jill" with Velcro (to hold up socks) - not the kind with a cup in the photo (that's a Jock!)
  • Hockey Pants
  • Shin Guards
  • Hockey Socks (we provide the jerseys)
  • Hockey Skates (no figure skates please)
  • Gloves
  • Stick
  • Water Bottle
  • Hockey Bag or large duffle bag to carry it all!

Where to Get It

  • Any hockey store - we recommend Just Hockey
  • Used equipment at Play it Again Sports or on Kijiji
  • Borrow from your teenager (if you can stand the smell!)
